Shipping and Delivery

Where is our service available?
We currently accept online orders within the United States only. Orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska require additional shipping charges. For perishable items, we cannot extend our guarantee to orders for which we are given an incorrect address or PO Box.

How do we ship and deliver?
We currently offer five different shipping methods detailed below; however, not every method is available for every product. Multiple orders are not bulked together; they are billed and shipped separately. Therefore, all packages may not arrive at the same time. ORDERS PLACED AFTER NOON (EST) WILL BE SHIPPED THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY.

SHIPPING
Standard - Packages are sent to arrive in three to five business days. PO Boxes, Rural Routes, and Military addresses are shipped Priority mail, which takes 3-5 business days as well.

Express - Packages are sent to arrive in 2-3 business days.

Overnight - Orders placed prior to noon EST will arrive the following business day by 4:30pm if they are being delivered to a business or 7:30pm to a residence.

When do we ship?
All items are shipped on the date specified. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Orders placed which are to be shipped or delivered during the month of December will have the following restrictions:

For guaranteed arrival by Christmas, orders need to be placed on or before:

# Standard Shipping Cutoff:   12pm EST, December 17th
# Express Shipping Cutoff:   12pm EST, December 19th
# Overnight Shipping Cutoff:   12pm EST, December 23rd

How much will it cost?
Shipping and delivery charges are based on product weight or recipient zip code.

Can I pay by check or money order?
We do not currently accept checks or money orders for online or phone purchases. We do, however, accommodate them by mail. After receiving your check or money order, we will fill your order. Please include the following information when mailing your in order:

   1. Product choice
   2. E-mail address
   3. Delivery date
   4. Card message, please include how the card is to be signed
   5. Recipient's name, address and phone number
   6. Your name, address and phone number

Please allow five business days for receipt and processing of your order. If we have questions, we will contact you at the phone number provided. When the order has been processed, you will receive a confirming e-mail. How do I modify or change an order?
After you submit your order, you may make alterations anytime up to 12:00pm prior to the scheduled ship or delivery date. To make changes, please use this form or e-mail us at orders@southernpoundcakes.com and include your order confirmation number, along with your daytime and evening phone numbers, to facilitate the process. Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value if necessary.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee orders for which we are given an incorrect address or PO box. 

OUR FRESHNESS GUARANTEE

We use premium ingredients to ensure maximum freshness and guarantee fresh arrival. If any of our products fail to meet your freshness expectations, please call or email us for a prompt exchange or credit. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee orders for which we are given an incorrect address, or shipping delays due to weather conditions. Incorrect addresses will be charged an additional $10 to re-route. We value customer loyalty and want you and your gift recipient to be delighted with our products.
